Aqua Clean Environmental is focused on one thing:

From wildfire protection systems that use recycled water to advanced point-of-use filtration that doesn’t waste it, Aqua Clean Environmental develops technology for real problems facing homeowners in high-risk regions. Based in San Diego, California, the company works at the intersection of fire safety, water treatment, and environmental responsibility.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple:

Wildfires are no longer seasonal. Water stress is no longer hypothetical. Our systems are designed for the world as it is now—not the one we used to have.
Our Founder
Founded by environmental engineer Sam Nakhleh, Aqua Clean Environmental is the result of decades spent inside the environmental and water-treatment industry—seeing, first-hand, how often short-term thinking wins over long-term protection.
Over the course of his career, Sam has:

Worked on projects involving industrial wastewater treatment and discharge control.

Seen rivers, wells, and communities impacted by inadequate safeguards and “good enough” solutions.

Consulted on systems where the technology existed—but wasn’t being applied to protect people as well as it could.
Aqua Clean Environmental is his way of building systems that do it right from the start, at the scale of individual homes.
Why Fire Shield and Aqua Reject
Sam’s work and observations led to two core insights:

Wildfires will keep getting worse.
Homes in California and beyond are being lost even when the surrounding vegetation survives. Traditional advice—“clear brush, change materials”—is not enough. There is a need for on-site, self-reliant defense systems that can operate when power is out and emergency services are overwhelmed.
That thinking led to Aqua Mist Fire Shield™—a rooftop and perimeter mist system powered by solar and fed by treated, recycled water.

Many “clean water” solutions quietly waste water or strip away what’s good.
Under-sink reverse osmosis systems can waste multiple gallons for every gallon produced and remove healthy minerals, often leaving water acidic. Whole-house setups can be complex, maintenance-heavy, and still fail to address hard water or biological contaminants properly.
That frustration led to Aqua Reject™, a self-cleaning, point-of-use filtration system that focuses on removing what’s harmful while preserving what’s beneficial, and pairing it with Sidon Integro™ for homes with hard water.
In both cases, the question was the same:
“How do we design a system that a homeowner can rely on when it matters most?”
